Josh Diehl got his start with computers when he came home one day to find his father had bought an original 4.77 MHz IBM PC. In a few years, he got his own 386SX to start playing around with, complete with a 800×600 color monitor. Many late nights of game playing (including SSI’s Gold Box D&D series and the original Civilization) and learning programming in C++ and Pascal ensued. All this led to getting his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Virginia.

He spent the next few years developing for software companies in Charlottesville, Virginia, initially in standalone Delphi software and then moving into ColdFusion Web development. At some point, Charlottesville became too small a pond and he decided to step it up a notch and move to NYC. He joined Arc90 in 2006 and moved into development management. At Arc, he’s had the opportunity to branch out to client interfacing, business strategy, and interaction design. In his spare time, he plays jazz saxophone and dances New York-style salsa.
