Brian grew up in lower Delaware in a small town called Harrington. Harrington is full of love, but not full of things to do. Luckily, his awesome family bought a computer while he was in elementary school, and he had plenty to keep him busy. It was on this 486 with turbo button that his passions for the Internet, programming, and online gaming were born. His earliest tools of choice were QBasic and the HotDog HTML editor. His first online game was Battledrome.

Brian knew he loved computers, and that was enough to choose to take Computer Science at the University of Delaware. After school, he was spent the beginning of his career searching for his place in the software development industry. He observed the startup scene in NYC through the tubes for a long time, until he knew he wanted to be a part of it. He finally moved to Queens five years after graduating, and received a call from Arc90 soon after.

His passions today remain the same, but his tools are much more interesting. His favorite tools now are programming languages on the JVM and many open source technologies. He doesn’t do much online gaming these days, but is anxiously waiting for the next big thing.
