Bill grew up in the small town of McMinnville, Tennessee. He yearned for the big city experience, which took him to Nashville, Atlanta, San Francisco, and Seattle before finally settling in NYC. He currently resides in Astoria, Queens.

Prior to working at Arc90, Bill worked in financial services at Credit Suisse as an IT Project Portfolio Manager, Jr. Controller, and Speech and Communications Coach. Additionally, Bill taught acting classes at Queens College.

Bill evangelizes Kindling and Bonfire, working with clients to assure they glean all of the benefits of software that nurtures ideas and encourages collaboration. He also leads communication programs internally to maintain healthy client and internal relationships.

He has a Bachelor of Arts from San Francisco State University and a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of Washington, both in acting. Bill sees a direct parallel between acting and his current role. He believes effective communication is a cornerstone of any relationship. No matter who you are, you have to think about your audience and the most effective way to communicate with it.

Bill loves to be inspired and tries to see as much theater, film, music, and art as he can. He also loves traveling and finding good places for hiking in the hinterlands. What many people don’t know about Bill is that he is a band geek and makes a yearly pilgrimage to Indianapolis for the Drum Corp International competition. He also played in two punk bands in Nashville, as a lead singer and saxophone player.
