Alex Gutierrez joined Arc90 in 2005, as the second hire, when the company was run out an apartment in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Systems from the NYC College of Technology. The Web designer has been nicknamed the CSS ninja for his expertise in slaying pages with bad markup structure. Alex is also admired around the office for his honesty when critiquing Web design.

Alex is an avid biker and you’ll often find him trekking around NYC on two wheels. He has spent a considerable time exploring the countries of Central and South America, including Colombia, his birthplace. Alex is an photographer who prefers analog over digital and even devotes some evenings to developing black and white film at the International Center of Photography.
